Gaza-based "Palestinian" terrorists fired two rockets at the southern town of Sderot Thursday morning. One nearly hit a bus packed with local residents preparing to depart for a holiday outing to northern Israel.
One passenger said the rocket landed a mere 150 feet from the bus, which was full of families, including many children.
The second rocket landed in an open area outside of town. Two more rockets landed near other communities in the vicinity.
Sderot residents and officials were again critical of the Olmert government for not ordering the kind of military action that can put an end to the rocket attacks.
Defense officials have been recommending a large-scale ground invasion of Gaza for months. They say such an operation is the only way to stop the rocket fire and dismantle the huge terrorist infrastructure the "Palestinians" are setting up in Gaza.
