Israel's Foreign Ministry issued a statement at the weekend harshly criticizing the UN General Assembly for passing a resolution that in effect rewards "Palestinian" terrorism.
In a vote of 156-7, the UN decided to publicly "express regret" over Israel's accidental killing of 19 "Palestinian" civilians earlier this month, and demanded that Israel halt all military activity against terrorists in the Gaza Strip.
That despite the fact that Gaza-based "Palestinians" continue to rain missiles down on southern Israel.
Read the Foreign Ministry statement:
"Israel left the Gaza Strip and the Palestinians continued to fire [missiles] at Israel and hurt innocent civilians. Nonetheless, UN member nations prefer to oppose those who fight against terror instead of opposing the terrorists themselves."
