Confronting and stopping Islam as manifested by Hamas and Iran should be Israel's top priority in these days, according to opposition leader and former prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
Speaking at the prestigious Herzliya Conference Sunday, Netanyahu said Israel should aim to bring down the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority so that "moderate" Arab forces could assume control.
Despite the fact that the Fatah forces of PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas are also devoted to destroying Israel, Netanyahu appeared to see a PA ruled by them as more conducive to the development of a peaceful relationship between the two sides.
The second prong of 'Bibi's" message skewered Teran.
It was vital, he said, that the belligerent, nuclear-chasing and Holocaust-denying Iranian regime be isolated and delegitimized by the international community.
"I want to call on the world that didn't stop the Holocaust last time to stop the Holocaust this time," Netanyahu said.
