Usually it takes 10 months to prepare tree saplings for transplanting into the ground.
After the Hizb'allah's rockets attacks set forests ablaze all over northern Israel last July, the Jewish National Fund made 150,000 new trees ready in just four months.
Utilizing a variety of methods to simulate nature, the Golani nursery succeeded, and the hope is that the new trees - which include other species besides the common pine - will soon turn the swathes of blackened rolling hillsides green again.
