Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday demanded that Israel officially accept a power-sharing government he forged with the Hamas terrorist organization last week in Mecca.
That despite the fact that the unity deal does not obligate Hamas or any other member of the government to recognize Israel's right to exist or renounce the use of terrorist violence against the Jewish state.
Abbas insited the make-up and policies of the PA government are an internal "Palestinian" matter that Israel has no business bothering about, even if it means more Jews will die.
