The new Hamas-Fatah "Palestinian" government on Monday invited the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization to join its ranks.
The PFLP is violently opposed to Israel's existence, and is recognized by the US State Department as a terrorist organization.
The PFLP was behind the 2001 assassination of former Israeli tourism minister Rehavam Ze'evi.
The new "Palestinian" unity government has openly rejected international demands that it recognize Israel's right to exist and renounce terrorism, so the PFLP's inclusion comes as little surprise.
