IDF treats Nablus to a 'Hot Winter'

A large IDF incursion force rolled on the "Palestinian" town of Nablus (biblical Shechem) on Sunday in an effort to root out the terrorist infrastructure operating there.

Nablus produced 117 out of 190 would-be "Palestinian" homicide bombers in 2006, earning it the title of "the Palestinian terror capital," according to army sources cited by The Jerusalem Post.

The opening hours of the latest raid, dubbed "Operation Hot Winter," were fruitful, resulting in the discovery and detonation of two bomb-making laboratories, an advanced anti-tank missile and a large roadside bomb.

Two soldies were lightly wounded when a bomb was hurled against the force.

IDF commanders said the raid could last indefinitely, and would at least continue for several days. Nablus' Old City and surrounding neighborhoods will remain under curfew for as long as the IDF is operating there.
