It's not just Israeli Arab Knesset members that want to hack off the hand that feeds them (see adjacent report).
Fully three quarters of the Jewish state's 1.2 million Arab citizens (who enjoy all the bennefits of Israel's Jewish citizens and one of the highest standards of living among ordinary people anywhere in the Arab world), denounce Israel as a racist society.
And, proving that a substantial portion of their animus is motivated by old fashioened anti-semitism and has nothing to do with nationalistic aspirations, more than one out of every four of these resentful Israelis denies the Holocaust.
According to [israelinsider[(http://web.israelinsider.com/Articles/Politics/10961.htm), these are the results of a survey carried out recently by a highly regarded University of Haifa sociologist, Professor Sami Smooha.
Further noteworthy findings include the belief of 48 percent of the Israeli Arabs polled that the Lebanese Hizb'allah were justified in raining hundreds of Katyusha rockets on northern Israel last summer.
In a sentence, the poll underscores the fact that the majority of Israeli Arabs view their own country with hostility, basically as an enemy state whose destruction is to be supported, and even assisted in.
As right-thinking MK Avigdor Lieberman warned last week, a "dangerous union" is being formed between Israeli Arab groups like the so-called Higher Monitoring Committee and the "new" Palestinian Authority.
Meanwhile, official representatives of these Israeli Arabs continue to assault the national emblems of the Jewish state.
MK Raleb Majadele, the first Arab to hold a ministerial post in an Israeli government, last week declared that he would not sing the national anthem, "Hatikvah," because it was written "only for Jews."
