An IDF soldier was moderately wounded by "Palestinian" gunfire in the northern Samaria town of Jenin on Tuesday evening.
The soldier was part of a platoon that had taken taken up a position in an abandoned building in Jenin's refugee camp.
Arab terrorists discovered the location of the force, and opened fire on the building, hitting the soldier in the arm.
The Israelis were unable to identify the exact source of the fire, so did not return fire out of concern for innocent "Palestinian" bystanders in the area.
The soldiers withdrew from the position following the attack.
