Lebanon's Hizb'allah terrorist organization has admitted that it is rearming in defiance of last year's UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and is preparing for war with Israel this summer.

The Iranian-backed and Syrian-supported Islamic group publicised its actions and plans in an interview pubished Wednesday in the British newspaper, the Guardian.

Israel has repeatedly complained to the UN about the ongoing weapons transfers being made to Hizb'allah across the Lebanon-Syria border.

Those complaints eventually got through to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, who recently called Hizb'allah's rearming "a blatant violation" of the ceasefire.

A number of western countries - including the US and UK - are now seeking a special committee to investigate the charges.

By the time such a body is formed and carries out its investigation, however, Hizb'allah will be more heavily armed and ready for war than it was a year ago.
