The latest Arab "blood libel" against Israel's Jews is that Israeli melons being exported throughout the Middle East have been injected with the AIDS virus.
An urgent SMS message sent to cellphone users in Saudi Arabia warned against purchasing melons that may have originated in Israel because the Jews had used the fruit as a carrier for the deadly disease.
The Saudi Interior Ministry later rejected the claim, noting that AIDS cannot survive in the low temperatures of a melon.
The Palestinian Arabs are regional leaders in spreading outlandish rumors against Israel.
In the past they have claimed that Israel poisoned their water supplies, dropped poison candies from air force jets, and deployed Jewish whores riding atop IDF tanks in an effort to entice young Muslim militants.
