Israeli children on their way to kindergarten in the Negev town of Sderot had a narrow escape Monday morning when a Kassam rocket hit a building not far from them.
The rocket, fired by Palestinian Arabs intent on killing Jews, caused damage to a private house and sent its owner into shock.
It was the third day in a row Kassam rockets had been fired from Gaza.
Seperate attacks at the weekend wounded two Israelis, one moderately, and damaged another building.
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert warned that his government would not let the attacks pass without a response.
Gaza's Arabs have been allowed to carry out near-continuous rocket attacks with little if any retaliation for months.
