Inter-Arab fighting continued unabated in the terrorist ministate of Gaza Monday following a weekend of violence that saw at least five "Palestinians" killed, and the home of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh attacked.
Haniyeh was not hurt in the incident.
Gunmen Monday opened fire on the offices of a Hamas minister in the Palestinian Authority, causing damage but injuring no-one, according to reports.
The two groups were supposed to enter a ceasefire Monday morning, but any hope of reaching such an agreement appeared far off by the afternoon, thought talks were reportedly continuing between the two sides.
While some analysts have tried to portray the in-fighting as being between the "moderate" Fatah and the "extremist" Hamas over what form of government should rule the PA, others believe the clashes are more related to the gangland-style warfare prevalent in "Palestinian" refugee camps elsewhere in the Middle East.
