Israeli baby wounded in Kassam attack

An Israeli baby was wounded and her mother and grandmother suffered from shock when a Kassam rocket fired by Palestinian Arabs in the Gaza Strip hit their home south of Ashkelon.

All three were evacuated to a nearby hospital. Israeli media showed photographs of the smashed baby's cot while reporting that the Palestine Islamic Jihad terrorist organization had claimed responsibility for the attack.

The strike came after a number of Kassam rockets were fired from Gaza Sunday as hate-filled Arabs in the strip try repeatedly to kill or maim Jewish civilians.

Israel abandoned Gaza in 2005 to give the "Palestinians" a chance to build a state. Instead of a homeland, the Arabs there turned the land into center for terrorism.
