People of goodwill might argue that the United States only assists the Palestinian Arabs in their effort to steal Jewish lands because America sincerely wants to see peace come to the Middle East.
And people of goodwill - and those who are naive - might choose to believe that Washington's input into ending the "Palestinian"-Israeli conflict stems from genuine care and concern for the well-being of all the people involved.
Whether or not any such debating or believing is founded on reality, at the end of the day the Palestinian Arabs are using hundreds of millions of dollars of US-supplied weaponry to terrorize Israel and try and kill Israeli Jews.
Hamas officials quoted in a WorldNetDaily report Monday boasted about the way it is using these American-made arms to fight against Israel and to resist US policy in the Middle East "for Islam, Allah and the liberation of Palestine."
Under the headline: "Hamas: We fired American weapons at Israel," WND's Aaron Klein wrote that top terrorist leaders had used American and international weaponry in a recent attack on the Jewish state.
The terrorists, members of Hamas, claimed they had fired heavy machine guns at an Israeli helicopter in central Gaza Sunday.
They said the guns formed part of an enormous cache of US-supplied weapons they seized from the Fatah faction of the PLO when they routed PA chief Mahmoud Abbas' forces in the Strip last June.
Washington has helped train and arm Palestinian Arabs as part of the US effort to help establish a Palestinian state in the Land of Israel.
Repeated appeals by Israelis opposed to "two state solution," and their warnings that these weapons will ultimately be used against Jews have fallen on deaf ears.
Although it will vehemently deny this the Bush administration, under the guise of "bolstering Abbas," is currently giving more "Palestinians" the training and the weapons that will enable them to become Jew killers too.
