At least eight people were reported killed Monday, and about 100 others were injured, when "Palestinian" Hamas members fired into masses of Fatah supporters at a memorial event for arch terrorist Yasser Arafat in Gaza.
The rally was reportedly the largest ever held in the history of the strip.
According to the Fatah members responsible for convening the event, the large turnout demonstrated that it is the PLO faction, and not the Hamas, which enjoys the most popularity in Gaza.
Hamas, an Islamist terror group, seized Gaza from Fatah - a more secular but still overwhelmingly Muslim terrorist organization - in a bloody coup earlier this year.
Since then Fatah has insisted it still has massive popular support in Gaza and in Samaria-Judea.
For its part, Hamas has threatened to also take over the so-called West Bank.
