Israel's security services have been placed on high alert in an effort to prevent Arab terrorism in the week running up to the Annapolis Conference.
The country's intelligence services have passed on at least 10 warnings of planned terrorism attacks to the IDF.
It is feared that "Palestinians" opposed to the US-sponsored event in Maryland will carry out an attack that will cause mutliple Jewish casualties, forcing the Israeli government to pull out of the conference.
A defense official told The Jerusalem Post there is "a concerted effort today by Hamas and other terror groups to derail the talks.
"One of the ways to do that is to carry out a large-scale attack inside Israel."
