Hamas breaches ceasefire - kills IDF soldier

An Israeli soldier was killed and three others were wounded Tuesday when the Gaza-based Hamas terrorist organization attacked an IDF patrol near the Kissufim Junction on the Gaza-Israel "border."

The strike, which may have been an abduction attempt by the Iranian-backed group, came 10 days after Hamas agreed to an ceasefire with Israel, and less than a week after the Israeli Army had completely pulled out of the Gaza Strip following the 22-day-long Operation Cast Lead.

A Hamas leader, Mushir al-Masri, blamed Israel. "The Zionists are responsible for any aggression," he said.

In any case, he continued, Hamas "had not agreed" to a full cease-fire but only to a lull in fighting.

Other leaders of the blood-saturated group, which has fine-tuned the "art" of using its own people as human shields in its war to destroy Israel, quickly went back into hiding after the attack.

Earlier, European Union foreign aid chief Louis Michel said Hamas bears "enormous responsibility" for the devastation left in the wake of its war with Israel.

Bizarrely, he condemned the terrorist group for acting like "a terrorist movement."
