Portrait of a 'Palestinian' mother

US President George W. Bush insists Palestinian Arab mothers only want peace and tranquility for themselves and their children, but Hamas' newest Palestinian Legislative Council candidate stands for the exact opposite.

Mariam Farhat, 56, has over the past five years become something of a symbol of ?Palestinian? motherhood amidst the ongoing terrorist war to eradicate the Jewish state.

Farhat has not only given three of her sons for this grisly cause, but has actively participated in their training as well, earning her the moniker ?Mother of Martyrs.?

In 2002, she advised her son Mohammed how best to attack a nearby Jewish community in Gaza. Mohammed managed to murder five Israelis before losing his own life.

Farhat's eldest son, Nidal was killed in 2003 while preparing a terrorist attack, and another son, Rawat, died in an Israeli air strike earlier this year while transporting rockets in his vehicle, according to Arutz 7.

She has three more sons.

Come January 26, this nurturer of death and destruction is likely to become a member of the PLC, putting her in a position to effect the lives of far more ?Palestinian? children than just her own.

The message she will bring: Terrorism is a legitimate tactic and one that compliments so-called ?peaceful? negotiations.

?The Jihadist project completes the political one and the political project cannot be completed without Jihad,? Farhat told Reuters earlier this week.
